If you’re after a beautiful, tranquil stay not far from the WSL action, look no further! Our peaceful and stylish countryside home sleeps 8 people in 4 large double bedrooms. Listen to native birdsong whilst in the hot tub, soak up the gorgeous rural views, crank up the pizza oven on the sunny deck, roast marshmallows in the firepit, watch the surf on the projector screen or head into our laidback Raglan township, just 14 mins drive away. The space This is a large countryside house that comfortably sleeps 8 people. There are lots of gorgeous places to unwind or curl up with a drink in hand or a good book. It has 4 large double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (1 with bathtub), lounge/dining, large kitchen with a butler's pantry and a beautiful outside deck with a spa bath, fire pit and pizza oven, all amidst gorgeous rural views over Raglan. Raglan township is a short drive (14 minutes) and it's 25 minutes to Manu Bay. Bedroom 1: Double bed + bathroom en-suite. Window seat overlooking gardens and flower farm. Bedroom 2: King single + single (can be made into large queen on request). Large windows overlooking vege patch Bedroom 3: King single + single (can be made into large queen on request). Sliding door opening onto vege patch and food forest. Bedroom 4: Queen bed. Desk and chair. Large windows overlooking rear gardens. Please note: we can add blow up mattresses in the lounge or any of the bedrooms to make 10 people if required. We also have a travel cot. Bathroom 1: Large main bathroom with freestanding bath + separate shower + toilet Bathroom 2: Ensuite to bedroom 1 with toilet/shower. Comfortable lounge and chill area with huge 8 seater corner couch. and a log-burner. There are many other areas around the house to relax, including two armchairs opposite the kitchen, the outdoor sofa etc. There is a huge screen and Projector to stay up to date with all the WSL action when you're not at Manu Bay. Chef-ready huge kitchen with top of the range appliances including induction hob, Magimix, Slow Cooker, Nutribullet, toastie machine, waffle maker - as well as a Butler's pantry to dump all your shopping and extras. At the one end of the kitchen is a ‘tea and toast’ counter where you can birdwatch out the back whilst sipping on your morning cuppa. Family sized washer and drier too with a covered outside area to hang towels, togs, wetsuits and washing. Inside dining on the extendable Danish table that seats 10, or dine alfresco on the deck under the stars. Kids entertainment with a new trampoline, spa bath, basketball hoop, tennis + net, forest next door to explore, extensive grounds. Little kids may enjoy the playhouse or sandpit. Beautiful rural views. At night, you can see a strip of lights in the distance, which is Raglan, twinkling away. If you’re lucky, you may even see a shooting star from the spa bath or whilst lazing on the deck! Please note: 1. Parts of the inside of the house are still to be painted (e.g. hallway). Please refer to pics for an accurate representation. 2. The house has a working flower farm in operation. Depending on the length of your stay, from time to time, a florist may arrive to harvest flowers, but this will be kept to a minimum and she will stay in the flower farm. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire main house and associated outdoor areas, eg spa bath, deck, gardens. The max capacity is 8 in the main house. There is the option of adding another 2 people in the main house on blow-up mattresses. The owners will probably be staying on the property but in the studio accommodation (totally separate from the house and quite some distance away). A driveway between the small studio and main house are shared. Other things to note This is a working farm: There may be cows in the paddocks. You are welcome to walk around the grounds but please leave gates as they were when you found them ie: close them behind you or keep them open if they were open. There are a number of electrical fences on the inside of the property, surrounding the paddocks. Please supervise children. There is a commercial flower farm in operation on this property. It is opposite the studio accommodation, about 50m away. A florist may come from time to time to pick flowers but they will stay in the flower farm only and keep to themselves. Parking There is plenty of parking for cars, trailers and boats. Other All linen and towels are included in the nightly rate.
