Living out of the box and into the SEA! Our cozy 1-room container accommodation is a stone's throw from the Langebaan Lagoon and within walking distance (approx. 350m) to the nearest kite beach, access at the Cape Sports Center. An outdoor barbecue area and a shared pool round off your little home. A small but well-equipped kitchenette gives you the option of self-catering. Kite washing options and hanging facilities are available The space The property has 3 units, of which the Kitebox is yours. There is the main house (OceanLovers) which is not rented out and the Kite Studio (airbnb.co.za/h/kitestudio) which can be booked for 2 additional guests. You share the pool and access to the property with the other 2 units but have your own braai facilities and private veranda and lawn. Guest access You will have access to shared inside parking, (electric gate and a pedestrian door) Pool and drying yard. You will have private access to the kitebox. Other things to note Restaurants and bars are just 350 metres away on foot. Relax with a sundowner in the Wunderbar or enjoy your dinner at sunset in the Kokomos or Friday Island restaurant. The nearest access to the beach is also 350 metres away. As a kiter, wind surfer or paddler, you have the opportunity to use all the facilities of Cape Sports. In another 1.5 km you can reach the city centre of Langebaan. Here you will find other kite schools such as Obsession and Kite Lab. There is a little more hustle and bustle here and you will find more bars and restaurants. The supermarket is also located here, as well as laundries. 5.5 kilometres to the north, at the Mykonos Resort, you will find more water activities. The Langebaan Divers diving school offers training and can show you the underwater world. Fancy a boat adventure or snorkelling with sea lions? With Ocean Safaris SA / Expert-Tours you can either explore the lagoon or go on an adventurous ocean safari on the Atlantic Ocean with lots of pelagic sea creatures. Note: We routinely inform guests about safer travel practices in South Africa, especially at night and during load shedding. Walking at night is less common in South Africa due to safety considerations, but many guests and ourselves frequently walk to nearby restaurants without fear.
