This small room is light on the budget. It includes a full size bed, closet, dresser, and desk. Ringe room does share a wall with the kitchen, so it gets more noise than other parts of the house. Another stay will likely be more comfortable if you're sensitive to noise. If that doesn't bother you, read on. Ideal for travelers who are working or studying, the room includes a compactly arranged full size bed, desk and office chair, and closet. This is one of four bedrooms in my home. It shares a recently remodeled bathroom with two other rooms (up to 3 people total). The house backs on to the Via Delta de Anza Trail. This 15 mile paved walking path follows a water aqueduct and connects to many other green spaces. Many guests come to the area for work. With plenty of parking and moderate traffic, it's easy to get around via car. If you want to go into the city, the BART station a mile away will take you all the way there via the yellow line. There is also a bus stop one block from the front door. Parking: There is free street parking in front of the house. Living Rooms: The floor plan includes two living rooms. One has reading chairs and a fireplace. The other offers a large squishy couch. Guests are welcome to make use of either. Kitchen: The kitchen is stocked with essentials, cooking utensils, and of course the all important coffee maker. Guests are welcome to make full use of it (when you're done, just remember to tidy up for the benefit of others). Laundry: In the garage you will find a washer and dryer. Ironing board is available upon request. Complementary soaps and such are provided. This is a residential neighborhood of single-family homes. Mostly working-class families live here. We enjoy being in a safe area, where kids go out and play in the street after school. There is sometimes neighborhood noise, such as cars going by or music on weekend nights. It's best to have a car, here, but possible to get around without one. The BART station is 1 mile away (yellow line). A five minute drive will put you on Highway 4. Concord is 15 min west. Antioch is 15 min east. Richmond and Oakland are about 30 min away outside of rush hour. A short drive will take you to downtown Pittsburg, where you can grab a bite to eat and stroll the marina. Our household is a quiet one. There are no TV's. I'm on a mission to fill it with books. This is my home, but I work a lot and am often gone. When I'm here I'm happy to share a cup of tea and trade travel stories. Of the four bedrooms, two are available to guests via AirBnB. I rent to professionals and students, but am not set up to host children or pets. Most guests are working professionals who appreciate a quiet, restful space to come home to at the end of the day.
