The apartment is newly renovated in the historical Abbott House in beautiful Columbia County with direct access to the Albany-Hudson Electrical Trail. 8 miles to Chatham, 25 min. to Hudson train station, and 1.5 miles to historical Kinderhook. 1 bedroom w/full bath. Private entry w/ patio directly off living area and a deck at the main entrance. Ample parking. Dogs welcome-must cleanup after them. No smoking/vaping, no parties. The space The apartment is a newly renovated open floor concept with original to the house details, like the brick around the fireplace. The building was originally in 1830. The fireplace is currently not in use. Enjoy a book or a board game on the comfy chair or couch. The apartment has a main entrance and a patio entrance. There is plenty of closet space and a dresser in the bedroom for your clothes. If you enjoy small, beautiful, towns with options to hike, bike, walk, and relax, this is the place for you! Begin your day with a fresh cup of coffee on one of the two patios and end your day with glass of wine on the blue stone patio. Be assured a clean, comfortable, and private place for you to enjoy. We are Hudson Valley living. Guest access You will have access to the whole apartment. To access the main entrance to the apartment, you will have to walk down a few stairs. Or up stairs from the lower parking area. There is a blue stone patio dedicated to the space as well. You can access the patio by opening the door off the living room area. There is also a larger deck off the main entrance to the apartment area. This deck over looks the back of the property including our old barn. Please note that the barn is not open to visitors. Other things to note Please be courteous to other guests. Your entrance and apartment is completely separate from others. No parties, no smoking or drug use. Please know that the fireplace is not operational. You will need to take stairs to access apartment. This apartment is equipped for two people ONLY. Unauthorized guests will result in an immediate charge and will be reflected in your review.
