Description
Cottage lovingly converted from a once gardeners shed and apple store which used to belong to the main house built in 1890 . Has a very National trust feel to the place wild flower beds have been created and in spring time the cottage looks onto the apple tree in bloom and daffodils. 15 square metres sunny gravel courtyard . To the side of the cottage is a victorian greenhouse with original vines that produce grapes and beds of Rosemary and thyme amongst the Rhubarb it's a real Cottage garden . The space The cottage has an open plan fully equipped kitchen and a large kitchen island with breakfast stools which leads into an area for eating with a large dining room table . It has a separate utility room where your Dog can dry off or even sleep( dog bowls and blankets provided NO DOG BEDS ) Washing machine tumble dryer and separate sink ,Ironing board iron . Dishwasher and washing tablets provided . Separate downstairs toilet on same level . The large lounge area with two sofas , desk TV , with Netflix and a music system which can play vinyls (lots of old vinyls and CD provided) A wood burning stove with a basket of wood provided ( Spar and village shop stock more ) Underfloor heating and wood burner keeps you warm in winter and the terracotta tiles keep you cool in summer . The patio doors lead out onto the patio area to the front gravel fenced off garden where your four legged friend can run around . If your dog is a jumper the next bit of garden in front of the picket fence is completely secure so they can't go far ! Guest access Shared driveway and path to cottage with main house .( see photos ) You have to walk up the gravel path has sensor lights all the way up 70 metres from the main house and up one a flight of steps with a rail Cars are packed on the shared driveway with the main house so you have to walk up with your bags ... I am always on hand to help . Other things to note The Shed is at the top of our garden . You have to walk about 50 metres to it . No parking at the top so must carry things up but i'm always on hand to help and can provide wheelbarrow ! You have your own private space separated by large gates so our dogs cannot visit your dogs if they are kept shut . Some family noise might be heard from children playing in the garden but it's an acre garden so should not disturb you . Some farm machinery noises may be heard from neighbouring farm
