Modern ground floor property with contactless access, offering a cosy and comfortable stay in the heart of the popular and picturesque village of Nettleham, just three miles from Lincoln. The space The cottage adjoins a tea room (please note this is under separate proprietary), with views across the village green and with off road parking for one car. Built on the grounds of the former stable yard and tack room, the restored cartwheel and original hitching rings on the old stone wall tell of the location’s heritage. Stable doors welcome you into the entranceway, leading into the spacious open plan living area, comprising of a cosy seating space, dining area and well equipped kitchen with breakfast bar. In your welcome pack you will find Lincolnshire plum bread with tea and coffee to refresh you after your journey. There is free wi-fi available. The cottage has one bedroom with double divan bed and extra deep mattress. Towels and bed linen are provided. The modern bathroom has a P-shaped bath with overhead shower and handheld shower system, wall mounted basin, heated LED mirror and WC. Whether seated at the breakfast bar, or the dining table, the village Green is a pretty and cheerful view. The bright dining area is an ideal space to share a meal or play a board game, or just relax on a comfy sofa or snuggle chair to watch television, or read a book in the cosy living space. Guest access Contactless access with key safe. To the side of the cottage, guests have use of an off-road allocated parking space for one car, with clear signage to greet you on your arrival. Other things to note The maximum number of guests is based on two adults sharing the bedroom. We are unable to accommodate guests wanting to sleep in the living area due to the open plan layout of the property and fire safety regulations. For your safety, please be aware that in the event of a fire, the bedroom window is one of the designated fire escapes and is approximately 87 centimetres from floor level. Please ensure both yourself and any other member of your booking party would be able to access this means escape when booking.
