The Modern Retreat

The Modern Retreat is a stylish, single-family home with upgraded amenities. It's close to everything KC has to offer while giving you a quiet place to relax. This 3 bed/2 bath has an extra seating area, plus a backyard + patio. It's hooked up with super fast wi-fi, washer/dryer and a full kitchen. Watch TV in the living room next to the fireplace or in the primary suite. We’ve also made it easier for families to travel with kids plasticware, toys, and a pack n play. The space The house is split into two wings – the primary suite (king bed) is at the back of the home while the two other bedrooms (queen bed) are near the front. Each bathroom is stocked with plenty of towels and hand picked bath essentials. We are 12 min from Country Club Plaza, and 20-25 min from downtown KC, Arrowhead Stadium, Kansas Speedway, Children's Mercy Park (soccer stadium) Airbnb has a no event/party policy. Prairie Village has a no SRT policy starting Nov 2025, so any stay must be over 30 days. Guest access You'll have the whole home except for the front closet which we keep locked. Everything else is yours. Other things to note Our family lives in the home part of the year. One person has severe pet allergies. Please be respectful of their health.
