Enjoy the lake with provided kayaks and be sure to bring your fishing pole. Soak in the hot tub and roast marshmallows over the outdoor fire pit. The space This lake cottage is fully updated and tastefully decorated, providing you a cozy retreat on the water. The main floor features an open floor plan perfect for entertaining. The kitchen is well equipped for all your culinary needs, including a coffee grinder and bar tools. The living area has a gas fireplace and a window-filled nook with vaulted ceiling. There is a full bathroom off the main living area. Exit through the sliding glass doors to an elevated deck with Weber propane grill and beautiful views of the lake. A spiral staircase takes you down to a lower patio. The upper floor has two bedrooms and a full bathroom with a clawfoot soaking tub. The first bedroom boasts a 16-ft ceiling, skylights, and a picture window that overlooks the lake. The second bedroom has two twin beds. The walk-out basement includes a second living space with sleeper sofa and a bedroom with queen bed and ensuite bathroom. Outside is a large fire pit surrounded by Adirondack chairs. Kayaks and life jackets are stored in the shed and there is a kayak launch cut into the seawall. The hot tub is near the fire pit and is covered by a lighted pergola with attached bars and seating. There are three large-screen Roku TVs and a record player with a small selection of vinyls. The WiFi is fast and reaches the entire property. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house and property. Other things to note The cottage is on well water and passes through a whole-house filter. It is safe to drink, but if you're sensitive to hard water, you may prefer to bring bottled water. This cottage is on a septic system; it cannot handle food scraps, wipes, nor toiletries. There is a basket in the kitchen sink drain to stop food from going down; empty this basket into the trash as needed and at the end of your stay. Toilets can only handle septic-safe toilet paper. Do not flush hygiene products, wipes, nor excessive tissue, as this will cause a blockage and render all plumbing useless. The hot tub has a floating coordinator that may be removed while using; please return it to the water after every use. Also, please keep the cover on the tub when not in use.
