Family-friendly loft close to the city and beach
Description
Factory from 1887 converted to a unique & cozy home in 2020 with modern Scandinavian interior. Here, you get the best of both worlds with biking distance to city center and beach. Great cafes, bakeries and restaurants are a stone throw away. In the apartment, the original features have been retained but updated: high ceilings, floor in concrete look with floor heating & steel beams that create a natural division between kitchen- & living zone. There is a small private patio and cozy kids room. The space The apartment is on the ground floor and consists of a large open living-/dining/-kitchen space that invites for cozy evenings on the couch, a glass of wine by the kitchen island, or a home-cooked meal on the dining table which was made by Sophia's dad with wood from her hometown in Germany. The kitchen comes with a wide range of appliances, including a Quoker for instant boiling water and chilled sparkling water, oven, microwave, and induction stove. We also have a barista-grade espresso machine and coffee grinder. The bedroom offers a comfortable 1,60m bed, a baby crib next to the bed, blackout curtains, and opens to the small patio where you can hang out in the summer-months and have a barbecue. The bathroom is modern and bright due to the big sky-light window and comes with a large shower. The children's room has a toddler bed, and lots of toys that your little one is welcome to play with. Our children are born in 2021 and 2025, so toys and books are for that age group. We also have two high-chairs and a baby-bathtub. If you travel without children as a couple or alone, our apartment will be just as inviting and all kids things can be easily put away in the kids room. We like it clutter feee so the place has a neat and scandi-cool feel to it. In front of the house, there is a garden with a trampoline, sand box, slide and swings. You will also find chairs and tables there as well as a Barbecue that are free to use. Guest access You will have the whole apartment to yourself. It is on the ground floor of a charming yellow brick-building form 1895. Parts of the building are protected and considered cultural heritage. The apartment is away from the street so it is quiet. As we live on the ground floor, People that live in our building and that use and work at the bike shop across may of course walk past it. In the front of the plot is a garden and play opportunities for children which we share with the other 5 families who live in the building. We also have our own private patio that you access through our apartment if you wish more privacy. Other things to note We have put together a guide to our favorite places in the neighborhood and city for adults and kids that you can access once booked.
