River View Cabin

Enjoy a private getaway on the Salmon River. As with all our accommodations, guests have full access to the main house with a fully-equipped kitchen, living room, library, and shower room. The cabin has a porch and nearby firepit. The cabin is off-the-grid with no electricity and plumbing. We provide battery-powered lanterns year-round and fans in summer. The cabin has a wood-burning stove for winter. There is a small camp toilet, and of course the shrubs outside always welcome "watering." The space Nestled above the Salmon River, Mavens' Haven is a beautiful home and event venue offering guests a place to learn, rest and rebuild. There are expansive vegetable gardens, fruit orchards, chickens, grape arbors, a wood-fired sauna, koi pond, swimming hole and beach, fire pit and Hecate Labyrinth. Guest access Guests have access to the main house, a designated community space with full kitchen, bathroom/shower, WIFI, game room, movie room, library, and living room. You are also welcome to enjoy the lawn, decks, gardens, beach, Labyrinth, and outdoor sitting areas. Other things to note Flanked by National Forests and Wilderness Areas, Mavens' Haven is about seven miles from Riggins, a popular rafting and fishing destination. There are many wonderful drives nearby. Cow Creek and Race Creek roads take visitors to a saddle with the Salmon River drainage on one side and the Snake River drainage on the other.
