2 Bedroom cottage in rural North Devon countryside

Our homely cottage is ideal for families and pets alike, situated in Devon’s rural countryside, just a few miles from the coast, with lots of clifftop walks, sandy beaches, and fishing villages nearby. Nestled in a peaceful village this end cottage, one in a small terrace that sits less than a mile from the village inn, is only 4 miles from the seaside town of Westward Ho! Appledore Quay (7 miles) and Instow (8 miles) are also withing easy reach. The space On arrival space for one car is available at the front of the property (others roadside in the village.) Head up through the wooden gates and turn right, step up external steps to the front door and you find yourself in the cosy lounge with comfy sofas, Smart TV and warming wood burner. Just off the lounge is a small snug room/playroom with some toys and books you are welcome to use and further seating plus a useful separate ground floor WC. Stepping into the kitchen/diner you will find everything to cater for your every need with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine. A dining table and chairs makes mealtimes easy. A door then leads up the staircase to the first floor where you will find two bedrooms, one king-size with built in wardrobes and one bedroom with a king-size bed. The bathroom completes the accommodation and has a corner whirlpool bath, separate shower and WC. Heading outside, from the front of the property you walk around to the rear garden which is fully enclosed, with lawn, patio area and garden furniture. A garage is available for the storage of bikes, surfboards etc and use of the tumble dryer. Guest access You will have exclusive use of the whole cottage, garden and the front section of the garage during your stay, feel free to use/borrow any equipment in there. The rear part of the garage is locked as we keep some of our private belongings there. Other things to note There is no back door access to the garden, you have to come out the front door and walk round. However, it is all enclosed behind the front gates so providing you keep these shut it is fully enclosed all the way round the property. The parking space outside the gates isn't huge but we can fit our large truck or land rover on there, it is on a slight slope so take care when parking especially in the dark. (Parking space can be seen on main picture of the front of the cottage) For families - there is a travel cot available to use (please let me know if you would like this put up) a highchair, a bed guard and stair gates for the top of the stairs and the kitchen if you need them. There is also a stick-on blackout blind should you wish to use it. For pet owners - please keep dog's downstairs and bring throws if you wish them to go on the furniture, there are dog bowls and towels at the property for your convenience and a stair gate for the kitchen if you need it. Please clear up your dog mess in the garden.
