Located a few minutes walk from Brixton tube station (from which it's a 12 min journey to central London), this stylish Victorian home combines period and contemporary decor to indulge the guest in a touch of luxury London living. Beautiful, well appointed kitchen; garden & patio; and a wonderful, peaceful lounge room in which to relax, combine to give you a real home away from home. 2 large double bedrooms (one with ensuite, the other with it's own shower room & WC) complete the experience. The space The lounge - with it’s original Victorian cornices and fire surround - creates a feeing of comfort, with the period paint palate and oak flooring enveloping you in a sense of calm and relaxation. The large, modern, bright and airy kitchen boasts Miele washer and dishwasher, Samsung pro chef induction hob and oven, microwave, kettle, toaster; all the appliances you'll need during your stay. The spacious kitchen dining area is finished to a high standard with oak worktops, stylish kitchen cabinetry and limestone floor slabs with underfloor heating. The bifold doors open out onto a delightful patio area from where you can step up to the garden. Up the stairs (from here on in it's carpeted) you'll find the 2 bedrooms, and on the first (half) landing is the Shower-room and WC serving the bedroom on the first floor, which is another oasis of calm with neutral grey on the walls and a contemporary cornice offsetting the oak fire surround. This bedroom has a SuperKing bed for the ultimate sleeping space. Up another flight of stairs and you're in the ensuite bedroom - here you'll find a Queen bed, a desk and chair, and its own shower-room and WC. Again, this room is decorated in soothing neutral greys. A quick note about the fireplaces in the house - they are non operational, and are there to create the feeling of a step back in time to when they were the way people heated their homes - please dont try and use them today as the chimney pots are blocked off! Guest access You'll be able to access the entire house, with the exception of 2 rooms which are locked off. When you are booked in as guests, only you will be in the house.
