Hotel Lilien is a renovated 1890s Victorian estate that was reopened in summer 2022 as a boutique hotel and cocktail bar. This is not a traditional Airbnb—it's your chance to make a brand new, fully staffed boutique hotel your group's home base. Perfect for corporate retreats, company offsites and celebrations, the property offers a fire-lit lounge, private meeting spaces, wrap-around porch, onsite cocktail bar, and expansive pool. Your stay also includes a fresh locally-sourced breakfast. The space THE PROPERTY An 1890s Victorian estate that was renovated and reopened as a boutique hotel, cocktail bar, and lounge in summer 2022, the main building is adorned with hand-carved wood features and original stained-glass windows. Over the past year the property has been featured on The New York Times "It List," in Travel and Leisure, Architectural Digest, Dwell, Glamour, Thrilllist, and on the list of the best trips editors of Conde Nast Traveller took this year. Since opening, we've hosted corporate retreats and team offsites ranging from fast-growth startups to Fortune 500s and even the Danish consulate. Filled with a curated mix of vintage, antique, and contemporary furniture, Hotel Lilien offers 18 fully soundproofed guest rooms, a cozy library, wrap-around porch, communal lounge, vintage billiards table, private dining/meeting room, a wood burning stove, two outdoor fire pits, cocktail bar and pool (May-August). No two bedrooms are alike, but each offers a private bathroom, air conditioning, hair dryers, and Further brand amenities plus Brooklinen sheets and Wright Mattresses. A plated Modern European breakfast is included with your stay along with Partner's artisanal coffee, which is freshly brewed every morning. By design, there are no televisions in rooms, but the meeting space includes all AV/IT needs (TV, hookups, projector, screen). We've been told our internet is the fastest on the mountaintop. Please note our bar and lounge will remain open to the public on Friday and Saturday nights. If you'd like to exclusify the bar Sunday-Thursday, we waive the $2,500/night venue rental fee for groups who dine on site. (We're biased, but our chef is fantastic!) Throughout your stay there will be a guest experience manager onsite to ensure you enjoy your visit. Please note that as we area a boutique hotel there is no access to a kitchen and for liability sake, all alcohol must be purchased from and served by Hotel Lilien. Our chef will gladly create a customized family style meal and our bar team will be onsite. Nobody will go home hungry or thirsty, we promise! Other things to note Hotel Lilien’s guest experiences manager, who is also a NY State tour guide, will be on site throughout your stay to assist with local activity and dining recommendations, and host a complimentary local 90-minute nature walk on weekends. Our bar and lounge will remain open to the public on Friday and Saturday between the hours of 5pm and 10pm (venue fee for exclusive buyout optional). Weekdays the bar and lounge will close to the public so long as your group opts into a food and/or beverage package. Our commercial kitchen is not available for public use due to department of health regulations, but breakfast is included and served by the Hotel Lilien team and our chef can prepare family style meals for an additional fee. Food trucks and outside catering are also permitted, pending approval. A limited number of air mattresses are available for additional guests. With the exception of the Deck King rooms and Deck Queen + Bunk dogs are not permitted in rooms. Up to 2 dogs are allowed in these rooms for an additional $50/night fee. Pets are not permitted in the communal areas of the hotel (library, reception, lounge, private meeting rooms/dining spaces, e.g.)
