Our custom home is set in a large meadow surrounded by woods, creating a tranquil country getaway. Perfect for families, golfers and adventurers. Located 8 miles from downtown Port Townsend and 1 mile from the Discovery Bay Golf Course. The large yard is perfect for outdoor activities and enjoying the wildlife. The space Upon entering our home, there is coat rack, shoe storage and shelfs filled with books, games and puzzles. The master bedroom is upstairs with a king size bed and attached full bathroom. French doors lead to a private balcony. TV room is upstairs with a couch that turns into a bed that is suited for one adult or children. Extra bedding available in the baskets. Downstairs is a smaller bedroom with a queen size bed. Both bathrooms are appointed with tub/shower combos and luxurious toiletries. The kitchen is well appointed for making meals, with dining room table that seats six. The living room is comfortable for lounging and socializing with two couches and a reclining seat. The woodstove makes the room cozy in the winter. French doors open to a covered porch with seating. The living room French doors open to a covered porch with outdoor seating and stairs leading down to the patio with a picnic table and barbecue. Guest access There are 2 locked rooms in the house. One in the upstairs bathroom and one downstairs. Guests have access to the rest of the house. There are multiple outbuildings on the property that guests are asked not to access, including the bathroom adjacent to the shop. Guests are welcome to enjoy the lawn and meadow. There is often someone staying in the fenced garden building. Please respect their space and do not enter the fenced area. The cabin is secluded from the main house. Other things to note There is wildlife on the property including deer, coyotes and rabbits. The guest staying occasionally in the garden house has a dog that is meant to stay in the fenced area. No outdoor fires during burn ban (most of the summer). Propane barbecue is available year-round. Please no parties or events. The house is on a septic system that will not accommodate large numbers. We ask that you notify us if you intend to have more than the booked guests on the property. The septic system does not tolerate harsh chemicals are anything other than human waste and TP. Please dispose of anything else in the trash.
