Cosy cottage is nestled in the back streets off the Bruce Highway however guests can look forward to the peace & tranquility, relax n chill after a big day in quiet location. 7a Avenue is all permanent residences set on large land size, meaning guests can enjoy space & privacy. We offer a Quaint 2 bedroom cottage with 2 bedrooms located in quiet street just off the main road Home Hill, easy access for travellers & workers. Wide street frontage for vehicles & vans. Cottage is equipped with 2 queen size beds, 1 three seat sofa lounge which can be used as a single bed, plus 1 other single bed can be made up on request Window coverings to front rooms are sun block blinds, with air conditioning & pedestal fans to keep cool. We offer a fully equipped kitchen with dining, large fridge, microwave, oven/stove, kettle, crockery, cutlery, pots, pans etc. 2 bathrooms & 2 internal WC Comfy lounge areas front & back of cottage Smart TVs in both lounge areas Wifi Linen supplied with choice of blankets & pillows Outdoor alfresco table to rear lounge Laundry equipped with washing machine & dryer, iron & iron table Home Hill offers travellers services such as Olympic swimming pool, bowls club/pickle ball, Friday night dances in memorial hall, local bakery, Library, pubs, chemist, takeaway, seafood hut (best in district) And don’t forget to visit Yongala Dive, Rock Museum, Butterfly House, many fishing spots and Sugar cane burning season July to November annually. Burdekin snow (burnt cane trash) falls like black snow as cane farmers burn their cane crops each day.
