Surf4life Oceanfront Beach Cottage

One of the last few Direct Oceanfront beach cottages left in CB. Great for small families. Sit on the front porch and watch waves or a beautiful sun rise. This home was owned by the same family for 50 years! While the cottage is small, it offers an excellent beach retreat that is reminiscent of simpler times. Excellent beach and surf break in front of home which is only 100 yards from the Tiki bar! There is also a private beach directly in front of the house. A beach experience like no other! The space This cottage is direct ocean front with a style and feel reminiscent of days gone by. Relax and watch some of the most beautiful sunrises while sipping coffee on the porch. There is great surfing and fishing right out front. You can see the beach from the front porch and watch the pelicans perch on the posts the were left from the pier that was partially destroyed by hurricane Fran in 1996. The Tiki bar and restaurant is located on the remaining part of the pier and is a local hotspot! This home was owned by the same family for 50 years before I was lucky enough to acquire it in 2019. Previously known as "Manatee" the Lankford family built this home themselves in 1969 after purchasing a large oceanfront lot. This home has many family memories and its has a relaxing, comfortable feel. This is one of only a few single family beach cottages left on the oceanfront in Carolina Beach. "Mike's Beach is your own private beach area at the base of the porch steps. Perfect for relaxing and getting away from the beach crowds when you want to sip on a drink that you simply had to walk up the steps to make! Guest access The rental is the whole house. It has its own beach area and the beach access is right next to the house. Other things to note MINIMUM STAY 3 NIGHTS. Bring your own soap, shampoo, conditioner, bath towels, beach towels, and sunscreen. REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR OWN TOWELS!! We provide all linens, beach chairs , dish soap, laundry detergent ALL DOGS must be APPROVED. We allow only one dog and they cannot be an aggressive breed. All pets must have a crate and be crated at night and when no one is in the house. No dogs are allowed on the furniture or beds.
