Other things to note The nearest shops and petrol are 30 minutes north at Westport or 45 minutes south at Greymouth - be sure to stock up on supplies and fuel before you arrive. Sandflies are plentiful on the West Coast, however, for your comfort windows are fitted with insect screens. There is no cell reception at the house - the nearest cell reception is at the end of the drive or just down the road. Sometimes you can text from the deck. Free fast satellite WiFi is provided. There is also Netflix and Freeview TV, listen to radio via the TV. WATER SUPPLY: this is rain-water from the roof and is not treated in any way - we always drink straight from the tap but you may wish to bring bottled water for drinking.
