There are gates providing access to both the gardens and the pool area but it is the responsibility of guests to keep these closed and supervise access by children. Guest access All parts of the property that are paid for within the reservation are accessible by guests. Other things to note There is a housekeeper 2 mornings a week to clean and change towels and linens on a weekly basis. If further cleaning or linen changes are required then Sue, your host, can be contacted to make arrangements. Similarly Sue is available if there are any other problems or if you simply need some local advice. Nearby water sports include dinghy sailing and diving, paddle boards and kayaks. Also available on island are day/evening cruises or Sports fishing with a well known and experienced Captain and crew based in Nelson's Dockyard. Just ask Sue for details. The power supply in Antigua can on occasion be a little inconsistent, thus the House has a back-up generator that will provide a rapid pick up should a power failure occur. Most properties in Antigua rely on the rain for our water which is stored in two large cisterns. Thus water is the Island’s most precious resource and we ask guests to be thoughtful in its use. Arrangements can be made for disabled persons and this should be discussed upon application. Please note that Sugar Loaf does have a cat who makes his home at the house.
