Charming house in central Malmö

Relax with family or friends in this quiet oasis in the middle of central Malmö! Enjoy breakfast in the morning sun or an evening drink in the beautiful conservatory. Gather around food, baking and board games in the large charming kitchen. Or snuggle down on the comfortable sofa in front of the TV with a blanket and a steaming cup of tea. Walking distance to Möllan's fantastic square shopping, grocery stores, parks and playgrounds, as well as restaurants, bars and nightlife. Close to buses and trains. Allergy-friendly pets are welcome! The space Welcome to my cozy home! This is where I live with my two children. The house is rented out during certain periods when I and the children are away. It's a personal home, so many of our things are there, but of course I make various storage spaces available for guests to use. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms, a study, a lovely balcony facing the garden, and a bathroom with shower/bathtub, washing machine and dryer. In the master bedroom, there is a Carpe Diem king-size double bed. The right side is a little softer and the left is medium. In the cozy and spacious room, there is a comfortable reading armchair and open wardrobes with shelves and hangers. In bedroom 2, there is a 140 cm bed, a desk and a sofa bed (105 cm), as well as a wardrobe with drawers and hangers. In bedroom 3, there is a comfortable 120-cm sofa bed as well as a wardrobe. In the study, there is a sofa group and a lovely balcony with evening sun. Here there is the possibility to set up an extra bed (90 cm) if needed. Shelves are available for storing clothes. Let me know if you want me to prepare extra sleeping places (the sofa bed in bedroom 2 or an extra bed in the study). On the lower floor, there is a large, charming kitchen with a dining area for about 8 people and many kitchen appliances. The stove is gas, but the oven is electric. Next to the kitchen is the newly built sunroom with large teak folding doors facing the garden. In the summers, the doors can be opened completely, and two openable skylights provide optimal light even in winter. Here you can sit and eat in one corner or relax with a cup of tea in the social corner. Next to the kitchen, there is also a cozy living room with a large, lovely sofa to sink into in front of the TV. The room is also furnished with a smaller sofa and a small, cute piano (however, one key is very out of tune). In the living room, there is a new HD TV (55 inches, Samsung The Frame) with fantastic picture quality and services such as Netflix, HBO and SVT Play. There are also about 15 analog live TV channels (including AlJazeera). Guest access Self check-in with lockbox. You have access to approximately 150 sqm of living space. There is a separate small apartment in the house, whose tenant needs to take a step into the hallway to access their bathroom. So don't be afraid if you hear a door open or happen to bump into someone in the hallway on the way in or out. However, you are completely private inside the accommodation itself as there is a door from the kitchen to the hall that can be kept closed. You also have the terrace and garden all to yourselves. On the second floor, there is also a locked study where I store some personal belongings. Other things to note Due to allergies in the family, we can only accept pets of so-called allergy-friendly breeds. Please check with me in advance if you are unsure, and if you have more than one pet. The house is from the early 1900s and has an incredible amount of charm, but of course it is not as well insulated as more modern houses. The old wooden floors can get a little cold, so feel free to pack a pair of warm socks or slippers ;) The ventilation, on the other hand, is good and the air in the house is very good. Due to the current energy crisis, we follow the recommendations for an indoor temperature of 20 degrees. Let me know in advance if you would like me to raise the temperature before your arrival.
