The cozy cabin is 10 minutes from downtown Truckee and in close proximity to Donner Lake, Northstar, Palisades & Sugar Bowl. The bright and airy living room and kitchen offer peaceful forest views with the large panoramic windows. Grab a coffee in the morning and head to the couch or deck to take in the treehouse views. You can relax on the deck off of the living room, surrounded by trees and nature or watch the snowfall from inside. The home turns into a snow globe in the winter and some families have even described it as a cute igloo, surrounded by the winter scenery. During the warmer months, enjoy beach access at Donner Lake (a 10 minute drive) where you can swim, kayak, paddle board and picnic. There are plenty of hiking trails abound that you can explore. During the winter, take advantage of nearby ski resorts including Tahoe Donner (6 mins away, great for beginner family skiing), Sugarbowl (20 mins), Northstar (25 minutes), Palisades (30 mins). Regardless of the season, Downtown Truckee is a charming historic town nestled in the Sierra Nevada, known for its Old West character and vibrant community.
