6 bed Farmhouse stay on organic farm & vineyard

A quintessential farm house situated in a stunning mature woodland location, with spectacular surroundings including our own vineyard - Woodfine Wine. The charm of the working farm makes this the perfect family escape to enjoy a relaxing retreat or to explore the local attractions in nearby Beaconsfield, Windsor and The Chilterns! A perfect getaway for anyone wanting to enjoy a peaceful break in nature and to make fond memories with their family and friends. The space Newbarn farm was built in 1741 and is a historical Grade II listed home right on the edge of Hodegmoor Woods in Seer Green at the heart of the Chilterns. It is a private home, working farm and organic vineyard where we have made our home available for guests to stay. Newbarn farm offers a wonderful retreat space for families, friends and organisations to get together and enjoy celebrations and events within the beautiful Buckinghamshire countryside. In addition to the house you also have the opportunity to rent the Tithe Barn for private dinners and corporate events. You might also want to book a Vineyard Tour and Wine tasting (additional cost). We are just 30 mins from London by train or car and we are ideally located to explore places like Windsor, Henley, Marlow, Amersham, High Wycombe, Oxford and beyond. The house has been improved and added to over the years and has a hot tub (available year round), covered swimming pool (which is shared with our shepherds hut - if booked, they have use 9am to 12 noon daily), vineyard, orchard and wonderful grounds to explore. There is also a cottage available to book. This has a superking bedroom, kitchen, lounge and bathroom and whilst adjoined to the main farmhouse it has its own entrance and is locked off from the main house. the cottage may be booked whilst you're staying at the house but they do not have access to the gardens. hot tub, pool or orchard. Guest access House guests have use of the orchard and gardens. As we are a small working farm you may see work going on in the Vineyard or orchard but we don't have any heavy machinery so noise is minimal. Please note that the pool is shared with the shepherds hut also situated on the farm. If the hut is booked, they have access from 9am-12 noon daily. You will have access from 12 noon to 8pm, when the pool closes. We will let you know if this is the case Other things to note The farm has recently achieved organic status via the Soil Association so we are working hard to keep litter, plastics and rubbish to a minimum. We are in the process of changing over all our toiletries to B-corp certified, organic and eco friendly products. You will see refillable handwash, shampoo and conditioner in every bathroom. Please do not take these with you as we will wash, sanitise and re-use them for the next guest. We have around 50 Organic Free range chickens who are looked after by some local families. You are welcome to look at the chickens but please do not try to feed them or go into their pastures or coops. You are welcome to visit our vineyard and winery in the furthest field from the house.
