The 3 bedroom ensuite house with outdoor spaces sits on a 20-acre property with stunning views of Mount Kenya and Loldaiga Hills. Located near the Jua-Kali area of Nanyuki about 20-25 minutes from Nanyuki town. Enjoy the stunning views of Lolldaiga Hills, Mount Kenya on the outdoor patios or in the heated jaccuzi/hot tub. The space The house is rustic yet comfortable with great views of Mount Kenya and Loldaiga hills from the Dining Room, Living Room, Jaccuzi, and Master Bedroom. There is a spacious living room with fully openable doors that brings a nice breeze and great natural light. The doors open to a porch where you can sit and enjoy a stunning view of Mount Kenya and Loldaiga Hills. On a cooler night, the living room has a fireplace that is great to warm up near or use our outdoor patio heaters to keep warm while seated outdoors. Take a plunge in our heated plunge pool/jacuzzi perfect for stargazing on a clear night or relax in the afternoon with your favorite beverage. The kitchen is fully equipped with a water filter, 5-burner stove, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, blender, cast iron skillet, and general cooking and serving cutlery and crockery. Perfect to cook a simple but tasty meal with our seasonal fresh herbs(lavender, rosemary, etc. . All three bedrooms are ensuite with a luxurious king sized bed, writing desk. The master bedroom has a patio that overlooks lolldaiga hills and mount kenya. The house has several life size games (Jenga, Connect Four, Corn Hole, Bocci Ball) and some board games. Its located about a 20 minute drive form Nanyuki Town. Ol-Pajeta and Oj Jogi are about a 45 minute drive form the place. The house is eco friendly with Solar Power and Rain water harvesting. Guest access Our guests have access to the entire home and property. Visit the seasonal river, just a short walk from the property. Enjoy the variety of birds that frequent and some resident herbivores such as dik-diks and some rabbits. We kindly request you to be respectful and keep your distance from any animals you see on the premises. At the end of the day, you will be staying at a house in the African wilderness. As this is an untamed environment, encounters with wildlife such as snakes, spiders, scorpions, and wild animals are possible. Please remain vigilant and exercise caution at all times. For your safety, do not feed any animals, if you come across them. Though they may appear harmless, they are wild and can become aggressive. While the property is fenced with an electric fence running 24/7, it is important to remember that dangerous wild animals such as snakes, spiders, and scorpions naturally roam throughout the Laikipia ecosystem. Sometimes wildlife may pass through the area and it is impossible to completely prevent such. Guest Safety Tips: 1) Always be vigilant and watch your surroundings. 2) Avoid walking barefoot, especially at night. 3) Shake out shoes and clothing before wearing them. 4) Keep the doors and windows closed when not in use. 5) If you encounter any dangerous animal, stay calm and inform camp staff immediately. 6) Do NOT feed the wild animals Please follow all guidelines for your safety. Upon arrival at the Lolldaiga Woods, all guests will be required to present their Identification Cards/Passport to be noted down. Additionally all guests will be required to sign a waiver acknowledging the inherent risks associated with staying in a remote wilderness setting. By signing, guests agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless the host and property from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or injuries that may arise during their stay. This waiver serves as a binding agreement, ensuring a safe and respectful experience for all parties involved.
