Welcome to a cat and movie lover's paradise! We are a nonprofit cat rescue located in Oxford, GA, just minutes away from Covington and 40 minutes from downtown Atlanta. We are excited to open our doors and invite our fellow cat and movie lovers to come join in on the fun! Our guest suite offers a private entrance, bedroom, bathroom, theater, as well as exclusive access to our cat room (aka free therapy!) The bedroom features a king bed with a "Softer Winkbed" mattress, 60 inch Samsung TV, and a Keurig coffee maker. The theater includes luxury stadium seating, 12 ft screen, vintage arcade games, and a popcorn machine atop a fully stocked candy bar (this is complimentary but please do not waste or abuse it.) The cat room is always open to you with plenty of treats for you to win over the hearts of the little ones. The space is suitable for 2 guests but can be accommodating for 3. If requested, we can provide a rollaway twin bed for an extra guest. When you arrive, you will park in the circular driveway to the right of the fountain. Outdoor stairs will be on the right. Look for the hanging "Kat Pawz Airbnb" sign to indicate the pathway. The private entrance leads you straight into the cat room (this room is cleaned daily but we do our best to stay out of guests way). The next interior door leads you into the guest suite with the private theater, bedroom and bathroom. Feel free to message us through the app if you have any questions or concerns. Someone will always be on the property in the main house above the suite. We will provide you with a guide on how to operate the theater equipment but if it seems too overwhelming, we ask that you let us know and we will help. We are right around the corner from the Georgia International Horse Park and Costley Mill. The Covington Square is just a 10 minute drive away. Before your check-in, you will receive a message with a “cat menu”. This is a preview of our current residents of the cat room. You are allowed to take any cat(s) back to your suite and return them as you’d like (please no more than 2 at a time). There is a conjoining room that houses a litter robot and food for your sleepover buddies. We ask that you do not let cats into the theater for the sake of the leather seats. We also ask that you be careful to not let any cats out of the outdoor entrance/exit. Please immediately message us if any accidents occur. If you happen to find your soulmate here, you will absolutely have the option to adopt them if they are available!
