This space is a beautiful newly built one bedroom guesthouse. Our boho bungalow is perfect for a fun or romantic weekend away as well as private and quiet for longer stays! Its stunning floor to ceiling windows offer incredible views of the Peaks of Otter and is perfect for taking in a sunrise or sunset right from the warmth of your own space. It’s also conveniently located only about 15 minutes from the Peaks for those ready for some time outdoors! Come make yourself feel at home! This private guest house is located at the to the rear, left hand side of the main house. It is complete with off street parking and a separate entrance. You will be provided with a code for self check-in that you will utilize throughout your stay. Please note your code will only be for use at the main entry door to the guest house. More detailed information with photos will be available in the check-in information provided after booking. The kitchen is fully equipped, but does offer smaller size appliances. There is a dishwasher, garbage disposal, and smaller oven/stove for your use. The kitchen is stocked with the essentials and we are happy to provide other specific items at your request if we have them! The pantry features a Keurig, coffee, creamer, and sugar/sweetener. The bedroom as well as the living room are equipped the smart TVs that you may utilize to log in to your preferred streaming platforms. They are all set in guest mode so you can input your check out date upon your arrival and you will be automatically signed out of everything at the time you set. The master bedroom is equipped with a walk-in closet with hangers, shelves, and luggage rack, if you'd like to get settled. There is also a portable desk in the master closet that can be utilized wherever you would like work in or outside the property. There is a en-suite full bathroom. The bedroom has a comfortable, adjustable memory foam queen size bed, blackout shade, a ceiling fan, and a tower fan to improve your comfort and sleep experience. This space has been designed with your comfort in mind! There is one full bathroom which includes a walk in shower. It is stocked with necessities such as ample toilet paper, plush towels, shampoo and conditioner, and more. If there is anything you may have forgotten, please feel free to reach out. We are happy to assist in providing additional necessities when we have them available! There is plenty of outdoor living space, both covered and uncovered, which you are welcome to use. There are several reclining pool chairs, sitting areas (some sitting areas are seasonal) and an in-ground pool and hot tub. The pool is heated and available for use. It will be during summer months. Private use of the hot tub is available 5PM to midnight year round, additional hours are available as requested. Please note this backyard space may also be utilized by the owners at times as well. Feel free to let your host know if there are any specific times you’d like to ensure you will have the outdoor space to yourself and we will be happy to accommodate. Also reach out if assistance is needed. You will be provided with a code for an easy self check-in at your convenience. You will have access to the full one-bedroom guesthouse and the outdoor space utilize. Please note this space may also be utilized by the owners at times as well. It is walking distance or a quick 2-3 minute drive to a few local restaurants, coffee, and a local favorite, Beale's Brewery (which serves great food and brews). Bedford is centrally located in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains, only 9 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway, between Roanoke and Lynchburg. This location is also a great starting point for those interested in visiting wineries, breweries, and hiking.
