This glamping experience is one of a kind; unplug in our renovated 31ft 1977 Airstream. Located only 5 minutes to the beach, we are in a very desirable location. Sit out on the deck under the moonlight, and find yourself underneath the stars in the unique outdoor shower. Hit the waves if the surf is good, go for a stroll downtown, take the two bicycles provided for a cruise to the beach, or rent a kayak and explore the Indian river lagoon - there are endless outdoor activities in the area. We are 3 miles to Jensen public beach (5 minutes by car), and within walking distance to downtown Jensen, where you will find a variety of shops, restaurants, and bars. Publix and Winn Dixie are within biking distance, or a 5 minute car ride away. The public boat ramp is 2 minutes down the road, with a plethora of fishing spots a very short boat ride away. If you’re into nature and hiking, Savannah’s Preserve state park is practically in our backyard, and there are multiple trails to explore and kayak launches. This “glamping” experience is one of a kind; in the mornings you will hear birds singing and in the evenings the cool ocean breeze drifts across the Indian River which is less than a block away. We are on a small street in a very quiet neighborhood, with the railroad tracks at the end of the street. This accommodation is for 2 people; 1 queen size bed is the only space to sleep. The airstream features a working AC unit (an absolute MUST in Florida), space heater (for those chilly winter nights), a sink, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, and BBQ. Please note that there is no stove/oven inside, so cooking is limited. Step just outside of the door and onto the deck, and directly across to the bathroom/shower area. This is a partial outdoor shower; it is open air just below the roof trusses. The shower area features a clear skylight, so at night you can look up at the stars and the moon. The outside deck is 360 sq ft, and has plenty of room to practice yoga in the mornings, drink your coffee as the sun rises, or relax, chill out, and unwind after a long day at the beach. Please understand that this is ultimately an outdoor experience. The railroad tracks are less than a block away - trains come and go throughout the day and night. It may be a great annoyance for a light sleeper. Bug spray will be needed at times outside, and the outdoor shower/bathroom area does not have A/C.
