We welcome all guests to enjoy the Ravens Nest. A relaxing mountain apartment in the loft of a barn overlooking a canyon of ponderosa pines in Tijeras, NM. Decorated by a professional artist, this well appointed 2 bedroom apartment features murals, creative lighting, stained glass, pine beam ceilings and unique artwork throughout. The property is surrounded by the Cibola National Forest providing endless hiking and mountain biking opportunities. Secluded, yet only 25 minutes from Albuquerque. The space The great room encompasses both living and dining areas and features soaring pine beam ceilings and a floor to ceiling mural. The living room has both a leather sofa and two power recliners centered around an electric fireplace and 50" wifi TV. The open concept and well appointed Kitchenette has a full size refrigerator / freezer, electric induction cooktop, large toaster oven, microwave, air fryer, keurig and instapot along with basic cookware, dining ware and utensils for casual dining needs. There are two bedrooms. Both feature queen size beds with boho decor and closets. Bedroom one has a plush mattress and Bedroom two has a more firm mattress. The spacious bathroom has a single vanity, tub with wand shower, toilet, full-size washer and dryer and large mirrors. Please note there is a long flight of stairs inside the barn to get into the loft apartment. Guest access The private 2nd floor barn loft apartment is for guests. The 1st floor artist workshop and storage is not accessible to guests and may be in use at times by the artist / owner. Guests are permitted to walk in the canyon area at their own risk. Please take notice of signs and stay on the property. Be mindful of local wildlife. Please keep pets on leash when outside of the apartment. The house next door belongs to the owners should you need assistance. Other things to note For those with pets, we ask that you keep them on leash when outdoors for their safety. Local wildlife include coyotes, deer, rabbits, squirrels and bears. Large cats are more rare and avoid people but they are present in this mountain range.
