Off grid cabin with private pond, pet friendly

Relax with your friends and family at this peaceful off grid cabin in the woods. Enjoy some time away and unplug from everyday life. Whether it's just time with family, fishing in the stocked pond, or just hanging out and roasting marshmallows by the campfire. The cabin has solar lights, linens, cookware, plates, utensils, propane stove, and basic cooking essentials. It has an indoor gravity fed flush toilet. The cabin is off the grid so plan accordingly. The cabin does not have electric. The space A small cozy cabin in the hills where you are surrounded by trees and nature. Relax by sitting on the deck and watch the sunset over the pond. Listen to the bullfrogs calling to each other and an old barred owl shouts at you from the trees. Perhaps a light rain will start and the tinging sound from the metal roof lulls you to sleep as you are cuddled up on the couch watching the fire dance in the woodstove. Everything at the cabin is relaxing and we try to provide everything that you could possibly need to have the best vacation ever. Guest access As a guest, you have access to the cabin, a private pavillion, and a pond stocked with bass, perch and crappie. A floating dock and paddleboat are available for you to use anytime (swimming in the pond, using the floating dock and paddle boat are at the guests own risk and responsibility). You may hike in the 32 acres of land that we own but ask that you be mindful of neighbors posted signs. Our own signs are yellow and they are up to help mark your way through the woods. Outside the cabin is the firepit. We are happy to supply some firewood for you and your guests. You have full access to the driveway to the cabin at anytime during your stay. And, if there is a way that we can make your stay better...just let us know. Thanks. Other things to note ** The driveway to the cabin is a rock/dirt driveway and is steep in some areas. It requires guests to have an AWD vehicle with significant road clearance or a 4x4 vehicle to get to the cabin. If you aren't sure if your vehicle would make it, please ask. We would be happy to let you know what has made the climb and what hasn't. ** The cabin is off grid, meaning it has no electric or shower.
