Unique Chalet with stunning view in Les Diablerets

Chalet Killarney will be your private refuge, perfectly situated in the stunning Alpine setting of Les Diablerets. The chalet is a single-family home with five bedrooms (up to 10 people), two full bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen. Built in 1729 and purchased by our family in 1963, it has been modernized while maintaining the authentic alpine style. It benefits from an ideal location: high enough for sweeping views and peaceful night but still walkable to downtown and the train station. The space The jewel is the south-facing balcony with a panoramic view of the magnificent Massif des Diablerets. The outdoor dining table is a glorious place to relax in the sunshine or a meal. Our favorite place to enjoy a glass of local Vaudoix wine or Brasserie des Diablerets beer is on the deck basking in the alpenglow! The accommodations are on two levels. The ground floor has 3 bedrooms: a queen, a room with 3 single beds (one is in a loft space accessible by ladder step) and an office with a single bed. The lower level also has a bathroom with a tub (great for soaking after hiking or skiing) and a separate WC. On the upper floor is a room with a queen, a room with two single beds, a sitting area, and full bathroom with shower and laundry facilities. Enjoy your meals in our spacious dining area with an open kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped and for specialty meals we also have a raclette machine and fondue pots for cheese or meat fondue. There is also a wood burning stove that will keep you cozy all winters , as well as a small charcoal BBQ grill. Bon appétit! All the comforts of home are here to provide you with a relaxing stay. There are board games for guests of all ages, cable TV has Netflix, Amazon and many channels. Remote work is also easy with our high quality Wi-fi. You will find our living room to be a cozy place to read, nap, look out the windows at the mountains, watch TV or play games. There are two entrances to the chalet, one of which is perfect during wet or snowy weather for storing coats, muddy boots and skis. There are no steps to enter the chalet from the front door. For those with small children we have provided a high chair and portacrib. Guest access The whole chalet is yours and is not shared with any other guests. Other things to note NOTE that all guests must pay the village tourist tax of CHF 3.80 per adult per day, and CHF 1.90 for each child between 6 and 15 years of age.
