Farm Stay in Modern, Private Apartment over Garage

A rare find! Experience a farm stay in a modern apartment over a detached garage on a 13 acre farm. Enjoy a stroll around the property, visit our chickens and goats, go fishing, and birdwatching during your stay. We'll try to provide you with some our chicken eggs if the chickens are laying well. In the summer, we grow cut flowers and vegetables in our garden. The space The property contains two main structures, the main house and the detached garage, with the apartment. The apartment and house share a common driveway with the apartment being located across the driveway from the main house. The main house will feel like a close neighbor. The apartment has its own entrance on the second floor. Follow the wooden stairs up to the deck for access. The deck faces East towards the pond and offers great sunrise views. Inside is a large, open area containing the kitchen, dining table, couch, TV, and reading nook. The kitchen contains a sink, cooktop, microwave, countertop oven, and refrigerator. The couch has a pullout mattress if needed. The bedroom has a queen sized bed, dresser, and small closet. Guest access You will have the space over the garage and concrete pad in front of the garage but access to the garage below is not included. We stay in the main house and ask that you keep out of the attached dog yard. Please feel free to walk around the property. If you'd like to collect eggs from the chicken coop, please let us know first. We also have beehives on the property as well and ask that you keep your distance. We will try to stay out of the way but do have to take care of the property so you may see us around. If we need to mow the lawn or use the lower level of the garage while you are upstairs, we will try to provide advance notice so that we do not interrupt your stay.
