Beautiful 4 bedroom Georgian townhouse

A colourful, creative 3 storey Georgian townhouse. Located in the centre of the pretty market town of Haddington, just 25 minutes drive from Edinburgh and 10-15 minutes from many stunning beaches, countryside walks and golf courses. There are great public transport links right outside and several restaurants, pubs and coffee shops within an easy stroll, as well as further afield in the surrounding area. Please note we have a 3 night minimum booking except Xmas and New Year, which are 4 nights. The space The interior of this beautiful townhouse was created in partnership with renowned designer and Scotland's Home of the Year presenter, Anna Campbell-Jones. The original character of the building has been retained while adding a modern twist in the interior, much of which has been up-cycled. On the ground floor you will find the kitchen diner, with a table which seats 6-8, and doors out to the small courtyard garden, along with a shower / boot room. Upstairs on the middle floor you will find the living room, one double bedroom (the Yellow room), a single bedroom (the Red room) and a family bathroom (bath with shower attachment). The top (3rd) floor landing serves as a little nook for reading on a chair which folds out into an additional single bed (suitable for children or small adults), and then you will find the Grey room which is also a single suitable for children or small adults, and the master bedroom (the Green room) with ensuite. Private parking is available round the back of the property (space for 1 CAR - sorry, no vans - please enquire if you have a large SUV as space is very limited) and shared with the owners who live next door. If you have a 2nd vehicle parking is free on the main street overnight or in the long stay 2 mins walk away. Due to steep stairs and the restrictions of a listed building, the property might not be suitable for young children. Other things to note You can walk to an Italian deli, a fantastic cheese shop and the local supermarket in just a few minutes, plus the bus to Edinburgh which takes 40 minutes leaves from right outside the front door. Your hosts also own East Coast Whisky (@eastcoastwhisky on Insta) and can organise a private tasting for you - please enquire for details. There is artwork by local artists on display, which is also for sale. The whole place is a bit magical! Please note: The terms of our licence allow 6 people to sleep in 4 bedrooms (2 double, 2 single) and 1 in the small space on the landing = a maximum of 7. If the double bedrooms are occupied by only 1 person, the maximum number of people allowed is 5. 3 night minimum booking except Christmas / New Year which are 4 nights.
