As you pull into the driveway, tranquil gardens and a serene front porch welcome you in. Inside, high ceilings and warm timber pine flooring create a sense of stepping back into a slower, simpler time. In the living room, you'll find our collection of books, puzzles, and games — and no television. Spring here is for long reads in the sun, quiet afternoons, and genuinely switching off. The heart of Thagg Haus is its kitchen and dining area, where a well-stocked pantry and the Nectre wood heater invite you to settle in, cook something unhurried, and fill the cottage with warmth on the cooler spring evenings. Outside, the fire pit and wood-fired pizza oven come into their own as the weather warms. Imagine golden light, birdsong, and evenings spent under open sky. Other things to note Thagg Haus is one hundred years old, and although she has been respectfully renovated, she still holds that old-world charm. From her creaky floorboards to the original bathroom fittings, these timeless features are an integral part of her character, and she wouldn’t be the same without them.
