Description
Enjoy the perfect break in this beautiful annexe for 2 people attached to our Georgian family home, just 5 minutes walk from all the fabulous shopping, cafes and restaurants of our gorgeous historic town. The Lodge gives you a boutique hotel experience with the convenience and privacy of your own separate entrance, a stylish kitchenette and peaceful courtyard seating. Your welcoming host is on hand nearby to see that you have all you need to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. The space In the 1800s the Lodge was purpose built as consulting rooms by the local doctor who lived in the neighbouring Northcote House. Both the house and Lodge are set up above the road, with a long set of steps leading to the 2 separate entrances. The Lodge has been lovingly updated with modern comforts while keeping the feel of a period property. The entrance hall has plenty of coat and shoe space to keep your outside things. The cosy double bedroom has a view of the garden and features a hotel style bed with a luxury feather duvet and stylish bedding. There is a smart TV in the bedroom (you’ll need to sign into your own accounts on the various streaming services, so make sure you have your passwords!) The modern kitchenette has everything you need for making drinks and simple meals with a fridge freezer to keep your food fresh. Through to the bathroom which cocoons you in a warm modern feel with a large power shower, soft towels and luxury toiletries. The little courtyard is accessed conveniently from the kitchen, perfect for alfresco dining when Devon weather permits. There is no designated parking at the flat, but public car parks are nearby and residents parking on the street is free overnight and on Sundays. I’m afraid the property is not suitable for babies or children.
