Historic Centennial Country Estate built in 1895. This beautiful two story modern farmhouse in Northern Colorado is nestled on a working farm, yet close to everything you might need. Enjoy panoramic views of the Rocky Mountains while visiting the legendary Lucerne farming district. The estate has a large yard with plenty of grassy areas, mature trees and flowers, A perfect getaway for families, couples, and friends. Ideal for road trippers or small crews working in the area or remotely. The space The two story home reflects historical details that have been restored and preserved in appreciation of our pioneer families that homesteaded in this area in the 1890's.. Many furnishings and photographs date back to the time the home was built. The kitchen has stainless appliances, quartz countertops, and a farmhouse sink. It is fully equipped with dishes, cookware, and much more. The dining room has a large table with additional seating as well as a buffet table and hutch. A den/office houses a queen sized sofa bed. In this room you will find a television and DVD player or reading materials. Catch up with your email and social media in this comfortable setting. A favorite room in the house is the back porch. It is enclosed in glass and a great spot to sit and relax while drinking your morning coffee. This room is usable three seasons of the year and showcases outstanding views of the mountains and surrounding farmland. The spacious living room has large windows and beautiful yet comfy furnishings with plenty of seating. A gas fireplace with mantle holds a 65 inch Smart television. Many joyful gatherings of family and friends have occurred in this room over the years. A charming staircase leads to a sitting room, three bedrooms, and a large bathroom upstairs. All bedrooms have clean, quality bedding and towels. You will find a main level bathroom and a stackable washer and dryer. To ensure a comfortable stay, the house has forced air heating and air conditioning along with ceiling fans in all bedrooms. Guest access Guests will have access to the whole house, garage, and yard. Plenty of parking available for small crews working in our area. Other things to note The estate is within an hours drive of Denver, Estes Park, and Cheyenne, Wyoming with many other popular destinations in between. People from far and wide visit Greeley, Colorado for the Independence Day Stampede held each year as a ten day celebration around the 4th of July. Rodeos, concerts, and a Demolition Derby bring guests to our area. Our home is located just four miles from Island Grove Park, so very convenient for guests. Northern Colorado is host to many sports camps and tournaments year round. Past guests have found the home as a centrally located spot for these competitions. The University of Northern Colorado is 5 1/2 miles (a quick 10 minute drive) from the home. Perfect for Family & Friend weekends, sports, and graduations.
