A short drive from the airport and only 7 minutes to Hobart’s famous waterfront, wharves and Salamanca, this peaceful holiday home will have you feeling as though you're getting away from it all, with the convenience of being only minutes from Hobart's most popular haunts. The accommodation comprises three bedrooms (queen bed, queen bed, single bunk bed), two of which have beautiful water views. The house has a full kitchen with breakfast bar, carpeted lounge with working, freestanding fireplace and a dining area that opens out onto a beautiful front deck to let you soak in the sunshine (and the views). The bathroom contains a walk-in shower & double vanity complete with undertile heating for the chilly mornings & nights! Laundry includes; washing machine, clothes dryer & basin. A separate toilet services the house. A fully fenced yard including: back courtyard, front lawn and secure off-street parking for up to 3 cars. Within walking distance you can access the beautiful Clarence Foreshore Trail. Extending from Geilston Bay (north of Montagu Bay) through to Bellerive Beach, Howrah and Tranmere in the south, it offers spectacular views of the coastline, western shore and Kunanyi/Mt Wellington. It is a multi-user pathway (great if you have brought your bikes!) following the shores of the famous River Derwent and offers a diverse range of scenery, from picturesque bays filled with moored yachts to she-oak forest and parkland. There are playgrounds, beaches and points of interest along the trail. The quality of the path varies from wide concrete to narrow gravel sections. The house is suitable for families, couples or groups of friends. Adding to your ease of enjoyment, the property has free WiFi and Netflix. You'll live like a King or Queen at the Pink Palace. Guest access You will have access to the whole house, including NBN WiFi, kitchen and laundry facilities, coffee, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, books, portable cot (no linen), portable booster chair, baby bath, bumbo seat, change table and change mat, pantry items, Weber BBQ and fully fenced yard.
