Welcome to the one and only Casa Bohemia in the beautiful Pocono Mountains. Nothing has been missed when designing/decorating this home to create that relaxing, tranquil atmosphere. There are hammocks and papasans for comfortable lounging, musical instruments for enjoyment, hot tub, two fire pits, grill, and a picnic table for those outdoor meals. Everything you need is right here. Close to all the big attractions, but a quiet spot to disconnect and recharge when needed. Veteran owned/managed. The original Casa Bohemia was planned for the mountains of Puerto Rico. It was a three acre Spanish Colonial style home with an amazing view of Cerro Morales. Sadly, it was severely damaged from Hurricane Fiona shortly before we were set to close on the home. Undeterred, we found a wonderful home in the Pocono Mountains, where we have kept the same peaceful, relaxing atmosphere from the island. Accommodates nine people. Full kitchen with utensils, dishware, cookware, coffee maker, air fryer, k-cups, tea packets, condiments, basic cooking supplies (aluminum foil, etc.). Open common areas on both levels. Second level has a 75" smart TV, hanging hammock, papasan, couch, etc. and musical instruments for enjoyment. Both upstairs bedrooms have 43" smart TVs. Baseboard heating is available in every room with individual thermostats. First level deck has a 6 person hot tub, propane fire pit, grill, hammocks, wicker chairs, patio umbrellas, and a picnic table. Second level deck has a 4-person domino/card table and seating to enjoy the view. Private community has a pool open from Memorial Day to Labor Day, clubhouse, basketball and tennis courts, playgrounds, and dog parks. All-inclusive amenity passes are available at the Welcome Center for $12/ person. A private lake with a beach is only a few blocks away. Local attractions: Lake Carobeth (3 minutes), Kalahari Water Park (15 minutes), Great Wolf Lodge (15 minutes), Mount Airy Casino (15 minutes), Camelback Ski Resort (20-25 minutes), Jack Frost Ski and Golf Resort (30 minutes), Big Boulder Mountain (30 minutes), Mohegan Sun Casino Resort (45 minutes). Full access, minus one storage closet on each level. Located in A Pocono Country Place; a private gated community full of amenities. Boasting over 4 pools, 3 clubhouses, 2 lakes, 1 swimming beach, paddle boats, a miniature golf course, multiple tennis courts, multiple basketball courts, and multiple playgrounds. Some of these amenities are seasonal from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Amenity passes are available at the Welcome Center for $12. Casa Bohemia is close to many popular indoor/outdoor water parks, adventure parks, rope courses, golf courses and ski resorts: Kalahari - 7 miles, Great Wolf Lodge - 10 miles, Camelback Resort - 10 miles. There are also plenty of options for recreational parks, fishing, hiking, biking, golfing, shopping, fine dining, casinos (Mount Air - 7 miles, Mohegan Sun - <1 hour), NASCAR, and more. Free private parking on property. Guests must visit the welcome center to receive their pass first to access the community. This pass is used whenever entering the community. Home has wi-fi throughout. Smart TVs include Netflix, Amazon Prime, Roku, Pluto, Hulu, and other streaming services. Full bed bedroom on second level has a Playstation 4 console with games, board games and record player with records. Fans are available in each room. Two fire pits outs...propane on the first level deck near the hot tub and wood burning to the side of the house. Propane grill located on the first level deck. Picnic table located on the first level deck. Does not combine with other discounts or promotions. We do our best to minimize any instances of additional fees to our guests. However, there are a few seldom instances where it becomes a necessity: 1) If you book with less than 48 hours notice, there is an additional fee of $75. This is because the HOA charges this additional fee to the property owner for guest registration with less than 48 hours notice. 2) There is a $50 fee for leaving the grill and/or fire pits used and uncleaned, as this is an additional charge from our cleaners. 3) An inventory of all board games, video games and music records is complete between each stay. There is a $20 fee for each board game/music record missing, and a $50 fee for each video game missing after a guest checks out. There is an inventory sheet to identify which games and records are present after each inventory.
