Other things to note The cabin is accessed via a town-maintained dirt road followed by a short shared private road maintained collectively by neighbors. The roads are easy to navigate in summer and good conditions. In winter (December through March) expect snowpack and occasional icy patches — we strongly recommend AWD or 4WD and snow tires or quality all-season tires. Most guests with appropriate vehicles have no issues. If conditions are severe on arrival day, there is a spot nearby where one car can be left and the cabin reached on foot — roughly a quarter mile uphill walk.
