French Bay House - Raupo Room

Stay in the centre of the action in this one-of-a-kind place. The space Raupo is a spacious and bright king en suite room on the first floor and boasts it’s own private entrance from the side street. Relax in this newly renovated room and soak up the history of one of Akaroa's first houses. Equipped with crisp white sheets, a heater, fan, electric blanket, hair dryer and organic toiletries, you should not want for anything. Guest access French Bay House has a shared dining room where breakfast is served every morning. Guests are offered a choice of a cooked or continental breakfast using local, fresh and seasonal ingredients. There is a sun terrace at the front of the house with a bench swing, ideal for enjoying the final rays of the sun. There is also a terrace at the back of the house shaded by orange and grapefruit trees. Bikes are available for guests to use as well as a petanque set. Washing and drying facilities are available for all guests and there is a fully stocked honesty bar as well as a tea and coffee station for anyone to utilise.
