The space Nirvriti, a beautifully restored 1865 heritage home, stands out for its striking colonial architecture, graceful pillars, arches, and a grand sloping tile roof. The original layout reflects the agricultural lifestyle of the Gounder family, with open, airy spaces designed for comfort and function. Each level has been transformed into an elegant private suite, complete with a climate-controlled bedroom, spacious living area, verandas, and an attached bath. The wide, open verandas invite you to read, listen to music, or simply sit in quiet reflection. Thick 2-foot stone walls make the bedrooms serene slumber sanctuaries, while versatile living spaces can serve as a library, studio, or private lounge. The tranquil courtyard, centered around a lily pond, offers the perfect setting for yoga or meditation. Food is at the heart of the Nirvriti experience. The hosts and resident chefs, Suganthi and Saravanan, craft dishes inspired by local traditions, using farm-fresh ingredients from their own land and nearby farms.
