Lovely garden cottage - ideal for tourists, business professionals, medical students - near to Victoria Hospital, Constantia Mediclinic & Tokai Melomed. Centrally-located to all major tourist attractions (Muizenberg, Cape Point, Chapman's Peak, Camps Bay, City Centre, Hout Bay - 20-40 mins). Shopping centres both walking or 10 min driving distances. Fully equipped kitchen. Good internet connectivity. Nb 100% Non-smoking. Parking for one small/medium car on premises. The space Inside the cottage is an open plan kitchen/lounge/dining area suitable for singles and couples. There is Netflix and wifi throughout. The bedroom has a comfortable double bed with ensuite bathroom. There are generous built-in cupboards. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and houses the unit's washing machine. NB not suitable for infants or children. Guest access The host lives in the main house on the property and we share the property access gates. We will see each other from time to time as all cars are parked together behind one driveway gate. The pool and garden areas are shared. Guests can enjoy sundowners or breakfast at their own bistro table and chairs with a garden view. Other things to note Waterford Cottage is a tranquil place where we are trying to live being aware of our impact on the environment but not too extreme to make your life unpleasant 1. The cottage has been fitted with efficient ceiling insulation, designed to keep warm in winter and cool in summer. Windows and curtains will need to be opened and closed to work with this eco-friendly solution. There is a portable cooling fan for hot days and an electric blanket for winter. There is no air conditioning/central heating. 2. We ask you to embrace our composting and recycling system. 3. Smoking (of any kind) is not allowed anywhere on the property. 4. No extra visitors are allowed. No children are allowed. Finally, we are really friendly and are available for giving information and assistance but your privacy is extremely important to us. The host is very keen to meet overseas travellers and welcomes diversity.
