Description
Experience Tiny House living in Mill Valley nestled above historic Muir Woods with a view of the ocean and a few steps from the front door to the Dipsea trail that leads to Muir Woods, the beaches and dozens of hiking and mountain bike trails that make up the Mt. Tamalpais State Park. "The tiny house is magical! The views are spectacular and access to the Dipsea trail is steps away". The space It's not only a cool space in a great location, but you'll experience why the Tiny House trend is growing in popularity. The sleeping lofts are fitted with a queen size bed and a twin bed. The enclosed bathroom includes a shower. The kitchen is ideal for light cooking. The living area features a projector with a full-sized screen giving you a theater viewing experience. There is parking for one car onsite. The Tiny House offers a unique experience. The three-level layout of the tiny house is spacious and provides openness for small space with the basic comforts of a home. The galley-style layout of the kitchen with a gas stove and a toaster oven is perfect for cooking light meals (the main oven is nonoperational). The full-size refrigerator is handy for long-term stays. The enclosed bathroom with a flushing toilet and separate shower is similar in size and function to what you’d find on a boat and is hooked into the main septic system (odorless). It's the perfect location to hit the trails. You will be 50 paces from the trailhead leading to Muir Woods and dozen of trails that go to the beach, or up around Mt. Tam, or down to Mill Valley, a quaint "Mill" town with lots of great restaurants, cafes, shops, bars, and a town square to soak up the sun and people watch. There is parking onsite and a short drive to additional trails. The tiny house is next to the main house set to the back of the property. The side facing the main house has two windows, one in the kitchen, and the other in the shower. The main windows and natural light source are opposite the main house. Sitting on the couch looking out the tall windows gives you the feeling you are in the forest and you may be lucky at dusk an occasional fox or deer passes in front of the windows. Sleeping in the lofts with the windows open, one hears the deers walking around and other creatures doing what they do at night - it is very peaceful. Guest access You will be greeted by the host who will show you the tiny house and answer any questions you have about the house rules or how to operate the utilities, entertainment center, and the wifi access.
