Farm stay & animals on beautiful country property

Come and stay at our working farm. You will stay in the newly remodeled apartment. You will have views of the beautiful property. There is a seasonal pond with ducks, fields with Texas Longhorn cows, fields with Scottish Highland cows sheep. There are also chickens that lay eggs for a fresh breakfast. They are for sale in the farm store. The cows love visitors and getting brushed and fed treats. There is a large man-cave with a pool table, X-Box and bar. Door can be rolled up for outside fun. The space We have a farm store that sells fresh raw goats milk, probiotic yogurt made with the goats milk, pasture raised chicken ALL from our farm. There are seasonal items also such as plant starts and produce when available. The area around the farm is close to three charming small towns with plenty of downtown shops, bakeries, taco trucks, grocery stores and WINERIES. There are many options for wine tasting. Independence River park has disc golf, a large dog park, walking trails, a boat ramp and an amphitheater with seasonal events. Western Oregon University is 5 minutes from the farm. The Oregon coast is a quick hour drive. There is a farm about 5 miles away that uses “Geese Cannons” during certain times of the year. They are in use during the day and make a sound that is similar to a car door shutting. Guest access Guests have full access to the apartment, man-cave, yard, front porch and front area of the barn. Please do not open gates and enter the animal pens without host present. Guests can utilize patio with fire pit, BBQ, tables and chairs and large yard. Guests can walk to the pond and around the orchard Other things to note We don’t live on the property. Your apartment is separate and not shared with other guests but the property is shared by guests at the house and we work on the property daily. You will see us around
