Luxury holiday home, in a rural location on the Waal

Enjoy peace and space in our luxurious 131 m² vacation home, nestled among the meadows and orchards of the Land of Meuse and Waal. With its own spacious garden, high-quality kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms, it is a wonderful place for families or friends. Discover the beautiful Rivierenland region by bike, via dikes and ferries across the Meuse and Waal rivers. And yet you are centrally located: Utrecht, Amsterdam and Rotterdam or De Efteling are about an hour's drive away or less. The space The former stable has been completely converted into a high-quality finished vacation home of 131 m², with the comfort and amenities of a full-fledged home. The house is next to our distinctive thatched farmhouse, on a rural property among the meadows and orchards of the Land of Meuse and Waal. From the private garden, you have an unobstructed view of the adjacent meadow. The terrace is furnished with a dining table and a comfortable seating area. Inside, you will find a large, fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The first bedroom has an extra-large double bed measuring 180 × 220 cm. In the second bedroom, there is a double bed measuring 140 × 200 cm and a single bed measuring 90 × 200 cm. There is also a crib available. One of the bathrooms has a bathtub overlooking the orchard; there is also a walk-in shower. For children, there are plenty of toys both indoors and outdoors. On the farmyard, they can use the playground with swings, a sandbox, a climbing frame and a trampoline, among other things. There are also toy tractors and scooters. Parking is available right next to the house. In the right season, guests are allowed to pick fruit in our garden. Cherries, grapes, figs, plums, apples, pears and nuts grow there, among other things. On the other side of the dike, the nature reserve along the Waal begins. Here you can take wonderful walks. The Vonkerplas is less than a five-minute walk away, where you can swim in the summer if conditions permit. The Rivierenland region is also beautiful for cyclists, with routes over the dikes, along floodplains and orchards, and via the many ferries across the Meuse and Waal rivers. E-bikes can be charged at the vacation home. In the colder months, it's lovely to sit inside by the fireplace. Are you coming with a larger group? Depending on availability, the adjacent studio with a double bed and private bathroom can also be booked. The vacation home has its own garden with terrace. The holiday home is located on the same property as our farmhouse. We live here ourselves with our 3 children and dog. We are often busy in the yard and in the garden. The vacation home's private garden is not fenced or enclosed. The adjacent studio may also be rented out during your stay. Studio guests have their own access from the parking lot and do not have to go through the garden of the vacation home. The play facilities in the yard are for shared use. Parking is right beside the vacation home. Other things to note Our friendly Golden Retriever regularly roams freely around the farm. He is not allowed in the vacation home. Dreumel is only accessible to a limited extent by public transportation. There is a bus, but to explore the area properly, we recommend a car and/or bicycle. The holiday home is completely non-smoking. Smoking is also not allowed within 2 meters of the house. Receiving visitors who are not part of the booking is only allowed after consultation. There is parking for one car right next to the vacation home. If there are several cars, we may ask you to park them on the street.
