Luxury guesthouse, rural location

Relax alone, together or with the whole family in our old, luxuriously renovated barn. The tranquility of the wide surroundings and the views of the meadows are wonderful, and that in the middle of the country with many cities within an hour's reach. In addition to visiting a city, you can also enjoy the immediate surroundings; the land of Maas and Waal offers many hiking and cycling opportunities. The space The old barn was recently converted into a comfortable and complete house. The guesthouse is next to our own farmhouse on a hectare of land located by the Waal, in the middle of the land of Maas & Waal. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The first bedroom has a large bed of 180x220, and the second bedroom has, in addition to a crib, 3 beds for older children or adults (1x 140x90 and 1x 90x200). The kitchen is fully equipped for (extensive) cooking. The bathrooms are new, from the bathtub you can look out over the orchard, but of course there is also a (walk-in) shower. Parking is possible right next to the house, there is plenty of space! In the right season, guests are free to pick in our garden. We have cherries, grapes, apples, pears and nuts, among other things. On the other side of the dike is a beautiful nature reserve, and you can hike beautifully. In summer, you can swim in the Vonkerplas (if the water levels allow it), a lake in the nature reserve less than 5 minutes' walk from the house. In winter, you can sit warmly inside with the coziness of a fireplace. Furthermore, there are many beautiful cycling routes in the area, there is an outdoor swimming pool in Dreumel and an indoor playground in Wamel. For larger groups, the adjacent studio with double bed and private bathroom can be booked (see AirBnb) - subject to availability. For (small) children, there are all kinds of toys (for indoors and outdoors). For older people, there are board games. We are constantly improving and renewing, we keep the photos up to date as much as possible. Guest access Private use of the whole house, with kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Outside is a private part of the garden belonging to the house, but it is not enclosed. You might meet or see the residents or tenants of 1 other residence. There may also be minor gardening work going on the premises. For larger jobs, we will indicate this in advance. Other things to note * It is important to know that we have two sweet dogs (golden retrievers) running loose on the premises. They are not allowed in the guest house but can be found outside regularly. * There is a bus every now and then, but to get the most out of your stay, you will need a car and/or bicycle. * The house is non-smoking; it is therefore strictly forbidden to smoke in the house or within a radius of 3 meters around the house. * It is not allowed to host guests in the guesthouse without consultation. It is not allowed to move furniture without consultation. * At least 1 car can park next to the house. Sometimes we may ask you to park extra cars on the street.
