The property has its own consecrated 11th century chapel that has been completely restored and was once on the pilgrimage route to Rome. It can be available for weddings or other religious ceremonies, prior permission needs to be requested with the owners before events can be held at the chapel. Todi is the nearest town and one of the most beautiful Umbrian ancient towns, with plenty of shops and restaurants. Other famous Umbrian towns can be easily driven to by car. Nearby activities include nature walk, hiking, horse riding, wine estate tours, cooking class plus so much more. DESCRIPTION OF THE PROPERTY As you enter the property from the front door, there is a traditionally terracotta tiled staircase and exposed stone wall which leads you to the first floor, bedrooms and bathrooms. Through out the ground floor there is original terracotta tiling. A spacious lounge with wood burning fireplace, exposed stone wall with up lighters for that ambient evening light and an open view through to the dining room and with a picture window and patio doors, this room has a wonderful view of the pool and the distant mountains. This area is completely open plan with a dining area and table that seats 10, leading through to the kitchen with original ceiling of wood beams and terracotta tiles. The kitchen is fully equipped. And from both the inside dining area and the lounge room are large doors opening onto the covered terrace outside. Next to the kitchen is the TV room with L-shaped sofas and a wall mounted satellite television, this room as original wood beamed ceiling, exposed stone wall with up lighters for that ambient evening light. BEDROOMS 4 Double bedrooms, 1 of the 4 bedrooms has two single beds but can be made into a Queen upon request. All bedrooms have ceiling fans and air-conditioners that are remote controlled. WI-FI access suitable for remote working. All bedrooms are upstairs on the first floor. All bathrooms have the perfect vista. Bedroom 1: This is the master bedroom, it has a large picture window overlooking the pool and mountain range, a balcony with two outside chairs. It has an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower, large shower head and hand held shower. There are dual basins. The window overlooks the garden/pool area. The bed is a Super-King size180x200cm mattress. Bedroom 2: It has an ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower, large shower head and hand held shower, there are dual basins and one window overlooking the garden, a balcony with two outside chairs, overlooking the Chapel and perfect views over Todi. The bed is King size 160x200cm mattress. Bedroom 3: This bedroom has a window and door in the bedroom overlooks the rear of the garden on the property, a balcony with two outside chairs. The bedroom has a working old traditional fireplace. Complete with a desk and chair that can be used for remote working, all bedrooms have Wi-Fi access. The bed is King size 160x200cm mattress. Bedrooms 4: This is the largest bedroom in the house. Two single beds 90x200cm, which can be offered as a Queen if preferred. The bedroom has a window overlooking the back of the house onto the olive grove. It is complete with a desk and chair for remote working and has Wi-Fi access. BATHROOMS 2 Ensuite bathrooms, two bedrooms share one family bathroom. There is one bathroom outside which serves the pool and garden. Bathroom 1: It has an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower, large shower head and also hand held shower, dual basins, a toilet and bidet. The window overlooks the rear garden/pool area. Bathroom 2: It has an ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower, large shower head and hand held shower, dual basins, a toilet and bide. The window overlooks the rear garden/pool area. Bathroom 3: The bathroom has a bath with a separate hand held shower. There is one basin, a toilet and bidet. The window overlooks the rear garden area. Bathroom 4: This bathroom services the pool and garden and located underneath the pool, with steps lit at night for easy access. It has a toilet and basin. Away from the manicured gardens you will find upper and lower olive groves, fruit trees, herb garden and vegetable garden. Our olive grove consist of approximately 140 trees. The pool is open from May-September. It is fitted with an automated chlorinated water system. It is 12×4 meters, with a depth at the deep end of approximately 1.85 metres and 1.40 metres at shallow end. Wide travertine steps lead into the pool. The pool has sun on it all day and is not overlooked. The pool can be heated, this is at an additional cost of €50 per day. There are 4 sun loungers for sunbathing, an outdoor shower and a shaded pergola with seating beside it for reading or siestas in the shade. There is wi-fi connectivity by the pool and in the gardens around the house. The house has a large stone tiled terrace covered by two wooden pergolas, to protect from the sun and rain. The outside dining table seats up to 10 people and a lounge area for up to 7 people. From here you have views of Todi and the surrounding countryside including amazing sunsets. This is the perfect spot for long alfresco lunches or dinners with unforgettable views over the Umbrian hills, and the beautiful hilltop town of Todi. There is another pergola area which is to the right of the driveway with an outdoor fire pit and 4 additional seating. There is also a large traditional stone BBQ perfect for those summer BBQ’s and a bar area to watch the sunset and night lights of Todi with an aperitivo.
