Casa Ague – with natural pool at Aldeia Rizoma

Casa Agüé was built on two large rocks in the heart of the Atlantic Forest. It accommodates up to 10 people in 4 suites, with a natural pool, barbecue, pizza oven, and a wood-burning stove in a spacious outdoor area, and remote work setup with Starlink.The standard daily rate includes up to 8 guests. For the 9th and 10th guests, there is an additional charge of R$300 per night, per person, for the setup of extra beds. The space Casa Agüé is located in an area adjacent to Aldeia Rizoma (@aldeiarizoma), an ecological community of homes integrated into the forest, set along the Paraty–Cunha road, just 10 km from Paraty’s historic center. The property features waterfalls with private-access natural pools, as well as a rich shared infrastructure: the Ayuru space for events, a communal kitchen, agroforestry area, sauna, nature-integrated gym, forest trails, and a curated selection of experiences and therapeutic activities available for booking separately. We are immersed in a region recognized as one of the most biodiverse areas on the planet, offering a deep experience of connection, silence, and presence. As we are located in a rural and ecological setting, occasional power outages may occur. Aldeia Rizoma operates with an integrated system of solar energy, hydropower, and a generator, prioritizing essential services. During power interruptions, air conditioning is not available, and fans are provided to ensure comfort. This is part of our invitation to a more conscious stay, in harmony with nature. Guest access Aldeia Rizoma is located in the mountains of Paraty, along the Paraty–Cunha Road, about 15–25 minutes from the historic town center. Guests have access to the house and to the common areas of Aldeia Rizoma, such as the gym, waterfalls with natural pools, hiking trails, agroforestry areas, the forest temple, and the sauna (fee not included). Optional therapeutic, ecological, and astronomical experiences are also available. The property is part of a private gated community, offering comfort and safety immersed in nature. Important: Please avoid crossing the river on rainy days. Children must always be supervised. Pets are welcome but must remain on a leash at all times. The house is located in the heart of the tropical forest; the access road may become slippery, and low-clearance vehicles should park in upper areas. The house has some storage areas for the exclusive use of the owners, which are properly locked and clearly marked. Access to or violation of these areas is not permitted. The house does not offer a guest laundry. If needed, a laundry service can be requested separately during your stay. The washing machine is for the exclusive use of the owner. Parties are not allowed. The use of streamers, confetti, or any materials that may dirty the house, the pool, or the surrounding areas is strictly prohibited, ensuring the preservation and care of the space. Other things to note The houses at Aldeia Rizoma combine comfort, sustainability, and technology, designed by Atelier Marko Brajovic with a minimal carbon footprint. Water treatment systems, including biodigesters, and the rational use of energy reflect the Aldeia’s strong environmental commitment.Powered by solar energy and connected to the electrical grid, the houses also feature an automatic generator. They have gas-heated showers, water sourced from a local spring, Starlink internet, and 220V power supply (110V outlets are clearly marked). The sauna can be used by prior scheduling and has a fee of R$ 280; the waterfall and gym are common-use areas. Small pets are welcome, with an extra fee of R$ 250. For check-ins after 8 p.m., there is a R$ 150 fee, and after midnight, a R$ 250 fee applies. Because the property is located in a rural area, the presence of insects is common. The house is for accommodation purposes only — photo shoots, filming, or commercial use require a contract and prior payment. Any damage to items may result in an additional charge.
