Relax as a small family or couple at this peaceful place to stay. Close to York, the coast or even the bright lights of Leeds. Come and be part of our welcoming village for the weekend or maybe even a week. We are convenient for the wedding venues of the Oakwood at Ryther and Deighton Lodge, Deighton. No.3 is next to No. 4, our sister property and can be rented together to accommodate up to 8 guests. The space No 3 is a cosy house on a terrace of four in this quaint village. It sits next door to our other cottage at No. 4. It has undergone a thorough renovation and provides a bright, comfortable place to stay. The house has been tastefully decorated and is comfortably furnished. High quality crisp white linens welcome you to a super king size that can be split into two single beds and a double bed on the top floor. There is ample hanging and storage space. There are great views out towards the river and across the village rooftops. There are plenty of white fluffy towels in the bright, airy bathroom which comprises of a generous walk in shower. The lounge gets the morning sun. A great place to read a newspaper from the Pickled Postie round the corner. There’s Sky and then wi-if is throughout the house. The kitchen is equipped with all of the essentials for a full meal, including a convenient dishwasher. A foldaway table and chairs for 4 can be pulled out. There is ample storage space for any provisions that you have brought with you. We are well equipped for little ones with a high chair, travel cot, baby bath and stair gates so you don’t have to worry about lugging all that extra equipment. There is a small quiet seating area outside with a table and chairs. Guest access You will have the full house to yourself. Other things to note No. 3 is a strictly non smoking property. The outside area is separated if needed and the courtyard of number 4 is accessed through number 3’s courtyard. There is a lockable secure outhouse behind number 4 that can utilised to store bikes.
