The space Great location on the lake near Grand Rapids - yet feels tucked away from society and surrounded by nature! The lodge boasts ample outdoor space with a large private beach, big yard for outdoor games, and quiet woods that wander onto a quaint peninsula, the ideal spot for exploring or reflecting. For additional cost an outdoor yurt tent can be assembled to provide a classic camp experience for your group (sleeps 4 - 5 comfortably). The cozy single level private home has large space for community with an open living room and dining area overlooking beautiful lake McEwen. A spacious kitchen with a large butcher-block island creates an ideal gathering space to cook and prepare meals or play games into the night. The three season porch is the perfect place to slow down and escape our fast-paced world. Enjoy the sounds of nature, read a book, or sip a drink while the sun sets over the lake. For the sportsman - the wildlife and fishing will not disappoint! The lodge has three bedrooms all with beautiful nature views. The first room contains a 100 year old vintage full-size bed and walk in closet. This room accommodates one person comfortably or two people who want to get cozy! The second room contains a bunk bed and a single bed with a walk in closet. This space is perfect for kids, teens, outdoors people, or those who prefer to sleep solo (complete with retro-style arcade games and children's toys)! The third bedroom is the master suite with a large queen size canopy bed, complete with en-suite bathroom. Both bathrooms have been updated with luxurious dark tiled showers and natural stone floors. Please Note: The decorative retro fireplace is non-functional and used for esthetic purposes only. Please do not attempt to make an indoor fire. Guest access Guests will have exclusive access to the large private beach, full home, side yard, woods, and breezeway. The garage is not available for public use. Single cabin home on the east of the property is privately occupied and not available to occupants. Other things to note Kayaks, paddle boat, retro bikes, and optional yurt tent available May - October. Ice Hockey rink and ice fishing shanty available in winter months weather permitting.
