Cozy Cottage in Forest Knolls

Relax and reset in this peaceful West Marin studio cottage, conveniently situated in the San Geronimo valley, just minutes from Fairfax and Point Reyes. We are located in Forest Knolls, a: 10 min drive from Fairfax 20 min drive from Point Reyes Station 35 min from Bolinas/Stinson beaches 45 min drive from San Francisco 30 min - 1 hour drive from Wine Country The space The cottage is a light filled, newly renovated A-frame studio with a full kitchen, queen bed, and 22 foot ceilings. A sliding glass door opens up onto a large backyard with a private patio and outdoor dining set. Our wet-room style bathroom features a rain shower and brand new tile throughout. We also offer plenty of storage, with a large custom closet for you to hang or fold all of your items. Please note: We do NOT have air conditioning! Guest access The house: You will have access to the entire house, back patio, backyard, and driveway. The Property: Unless you rent it as well, you will not have access to the house next to the cottage, which is also used as an airbnb unit. We ask that guests also not venture onto the concrete patio area, or the yard in front of the larger house as that space is reserved for the other rental. **We encourage larger groups (maximum 6 guests) to rent both spaces, and enjoy the entire property together!** Parking: you will receive a gate code upon arrival for your parking spot in the driveway in front of the cottage. We ask that you not park on the street in front of the house, as those spots are reserved for those who have rented the larger house. The property manager will meet you at the house to check you in, walk you through the house, and answer any questions you might have. She is available during business hours by phone/text for any questions or issues that may arise! NOTE: While we love a good party, if you are looking for a spot to throw one, our house is NOT that spot. We love our neighbors and want to be respectful of our peaceful and tranquil neighborhood. Other things to note There is a second rental unit on this property. It is a 2 bed 2 bath house that sleeps 4 people and has its own semi private outdoor areas. It may or may not be rented at the time of your stay. We encourage larger groups (maximum 6 guests) to rent both spaces, and enjoy the entire property together! We love dogs and allow one per party! Because of the size of the space, we cannot rent to more than one dog. There is a pet fee that will be assessed, so please add your pet as a guest when booking. Please try to keep dogs off of furniture and beds. Unfortunately, we are not insured to rent to Pitbulls and cannot have them stay with us.
