Rocky Riverside Escape with Hot Tub and Game Room

This freshly remodeled house is a piece of riverfront paradise with its own beach and swimming/fishing hole, and a view of towering cliffs from the deck/spa. Hike or mountain bike on the local trails, cool off in the river, or climb at nearby Rumbling Bald. This peaceful house is located on a dead-end road 5 minutes from Chimney Rock and Lake Lure, 30 min from Asheville, 25 min from Hendersonville, and 25 min from Black Mountain. Come enjoy the mountains! Good dogs welcome, fenced yard, $50 fee. The space This 2 bedroom/1 bath house above a garage has a front wall of glass in the living room and kitchen that looks out on the Rocky Broad River and the cliffs across Hickory Nut Gorge. One bay of the garage has been turned into a game room with a pool table, sleeper sofa, and television set. The game room is accessed by walking on the covered deck from the main house and descending an indoor stairway. This property is the 2nd to last one on a dead end road on the opposite side of the river from the highway, so it's a peaceful place with very little traffic. The Rocky Broad river flows right in front of the house, with hatchery supported trout water for fishing. Guest access Guests have access to the entire property which runs across Riverside Drive and down to the river. Our riverfront extends in front of both 242 and 262 Riverside Drive, including the picnic rock and beach by the river. 262 Riverside Drive is unoccupied. 242 features a wrap-around covered deck and a fenced in back yard. Other things to note Enter the river at your own risk! Why has our cleaning fee increased? Asheville is an expensive place to live, and we believe in paying our cleaners a wage sufficient for them to live and flourish in our area. On top of that, most of our rentals have hot tubs (which are expensive to maintain), and welcome pets, all of which increase the time and effort required for cleaning.
