A lovely country cottage, close to the charming village of Lucker (1.5 miles), with its restaurant and popular village pub, and the famous coastal village of Bamburgh, 4.5 miles. It’s the perfect place for a family or four friends to explore the many historic and iconic sights of this beautiful part of Northumberland. The space Northumberland is steeped in history with many imposing castles to explore including Alnwick Castle made famous by the Harry Potter movies and the striking Bamburgh Castle built high on a rocky outcrop. The quiet lanes are perfect for cyclists and walkers to soak up the stunning landscapes and perhaps catch a glimpse of the remarkable array of wildlife including red squirrels, roe deer, wild goats, otters and black grouse. Aidan Cottage is a great option for a family or friends planning to get out and explore the Northumberland coast and countryside. Bamburgh is a 10 minute drive, and Alnwick, 20 minutes.
