Directly across from Summerhouse are the Intracoastal Waterway, Fort Matanzas, and even more quiet, secluded beaches. There is not a high-rise anywhere in sight, yet Summerhouse is only a short 15 miles from downtown St. Augustine with all its fascinating history and charm as well as scores of wonderful restaurants, gift shops, pubs, and historic venues. This condominium is a lovely, second-floor, two-story townhouse design that features a large living room with sliding glass doors that faces the ocean with a private balcony. There is also an open dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a powder room on the first floor. The kitchen has been upgraded and the open walls give it a spacious feel. It is equipped for any meal you may want to cook or with all the great local restaurants you may select to go out to, it's your decision. The living room is beautiful with that coastal feel but also very comfortable and perfect to relax in after a day at the beach and watch a movie on the large flatscreen TV and DVD. The balcony has a new high-top table and chairs and is the perfect spot to sit and have coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening, listening to the crashing waves while viewing the miles of white sand and turquoise water that make up your backyard! There is a great dining table to share a family meal or to play games on. On the second floor, there's a large main bedroom with a king-sized bed and a private en suite bath with a spectacular view of the ocean. You have the perfect spot to lay in bed in the morning and watch the sunrise or in the evening watch as the full moon rises from the ocean. Also on the second floor, there is a guest room with twin bunk beds and a full-size bed. If you have extra guests, the living room sofa pulls out to a queen-size sleeper. Each of the bedrooms has a flatscreen TV connected to cable TV independent of each other. The entire townhouse will be yours! There's tennis, pickleball, racquetball, and shuffleboard (you can check out equipment from the office for free). There's also a playground and picnic area. There's a workout room, lending library (books, games, puzzles) and a small "business center" with computers and printers in the main office (near the south entrance). Our oceanfront property sits on over 25 acres of lushly landscaped grounds with direct beachfront access from four private walkovers. Crescent Beach is a small community, slightly off the proverbial beaten path, tucked between the traditional tourist attractions of St. Augustine and Matanzas Inlet to the south. You'll want a car to get to restaurants and the grocery store. There's a pack n' play with mattress (firm side and soft side), mattress cover, and sheets. We tried to think of everything we have to pack for our own young children and offer it all to our guests for no additional fee. New towels, sheets, and Turkish beach towels. Each bathroom is stocked with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. To reduce plastic consumption, we opted not to use travel-size bottles. Instead, you will find paraben-free, gluten-free, cruelty-free products in a dispenser mounted inside each shower. These products are certainly safe enough for children, but they are not tear-free. There is tear-free shampoo under the sink in the upstairs master bathroom.
